In February of 2000 I had the privilege of escorting a plaque commemorating the squadrons that flew the WV-2 "Willy Victors" out of Midway Island to it's permanent home at Midway. I spent a week there with Paul "PJ" Menard and we relived a very special time in both our lives. And it was a special time for thousands of our former shipmates who could not be with us at this special, unique atoll in the middle of the Pacific.
During this stay, I took many pictures that I wanted to share with everyone, and especially the former crew members of the "Willy Victors." Here are just a few of them. I hope you enjoy and remember.
