These are 106 photos of the "Willy Victor" at Rantoul, taken by Gerald Durbin. Gerald has made this a true labor of love. With the assistance of his wife, Phyllis ( shown in the first photos of this series ) and a number of fellow shipmates ( and their wives ) who have given much time and talent to the project, a Phoenix has risen out of the ashes. From a seemingly unbelievable and somewhat hopeless looking hulk, rotting out in a field and filling with huge deposits of bird dung, these men and women, under the leadership of Gerald Durbin have made this "Willy Victor" the only one on the planet suitable for hands on display, inside and out.
Gerald sent me a disk full of the great pictures you can enjoy here. They were so great that I could not bring myself to reduce them in size so I made thumbnails of them for you to click on and get the most enjoyment you can. I'm sure they are suitable for down loading for printing.
A hardy thank you and well done Gerald!
